What is difference between original & artificial leather?

Some of the easily noticeable points are like artificial leather has a very uniform & smooth texture as it's embossed through machining. Whereas original leather sheet will have deviations & will be porous to effectively absorb leather conditioners while polyurethane coated artificial leather will never. Pure leather tends to have a pull up effect i.e., a little colour deviation when bent or folded which you will not notice in artificial. Artificial leather will have a uniform fabric like surface at back while always there will be fibres in a leather sheet.
